As the globalization and internationalisation of the market intensifies, companies
are becoming more and more interested in information concerning additional markets
where they are operating and in various international comparisons. In accordance
with this trend, INCOMA Research provides its clients with solutions that also extend
outside the Czech Republic.
Even as early as the nineties, INCOMA carried out numerous analyses also outside
the Czech Republic, mainly in Slovakia. A substantial development of international
activities took place after INCOMA Research joined the global network of GfK. As
a result of the cooperation with the partner organizations of GfK, the company
has been able to spread its business activities to other territories, chiefly in
the region of Central and Eastern Europe.
INCOMA Research has carried out or collaborated with other organizations in numerous
market analyses in selected countries within this region (as well as Slovakia, the
analyses also focused on Poland, Hungary, Russia, the Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania,
Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro, and moreover also Austria and Turkey).
In the majority of cases, the projects were conducted exclusively for particular
clients and were tailor-made according to their requirements concerning the selected
region. The number of multi-client researches is increasing.
The best known multi-client projects at international level are the SHOPPING MONITOR
Central & Eastern Europe, which monitors with one methodology the development of
shopping preferences in nine of the countries that form the region of Central and
Eastern Europe, and the LEAFLET MONITOR, which is at present carried out in six
of the countries in this region. Furthermore, the number of countries were the project
Horeca Monitor is conducted is also increasing.
INCOMA Research has also been authorised by the regional management of the GfK holding
to manage the Centre of Competence for Retail Research in Central and Eastern Europe.
