Shopper Typology  2008

Chains' expansion, differentiation of retail formulas, and increasing competition have created new situation in the Czech retail market. The shoppers are still more demanding and informed about the retail concepts. Patterns of shopping preferences consequently tend to diversify into several shopping models. Marketing tools that work effectively in one group of customers need not work in another one. Concepts and solutions targeted to focus groups is the key to success instead of quantitative expansion or mass marketing. Joint product of INCOMA Research and GfK Praha helps to solve such a kind of challenges.
 

 
bullet Which shopper types can be distinguished in the Czech retail and which are their typical features? How are individual types represented in the shoppers' total and how this proportion develops?
bullet How does importance perception of individual marketing factors (price, assortment, product quality, opening hours, staff, parking lot, etc.) differ by shopper types?
How does differ satisfaction with these factors?
bullet How are individual shopper types choosing their main shopping place? Which formulas / chains do they prefer and which is the typological structure of individual chains' customers?

bullet Are there differences in shopper types' family income, education, age, and social position? Are they living in cities or in villages?
bullet Which newspaper and TV stations are preferred by individual shopper types and by individual chains' customers?
 

The report analyses shopping habits, media preferences and lifestyle characteristics of individual shopper types in tens of charts and tables.
