How to gain new energy and motivation for the squeezed marketing?

Marketing of nowadays is much more demanding than in peaceful times of redundancy, when success was very often achieved just by careful keeping of bureaucratic procedures, safe distribution of dedicated budgets, contemplating every decision and doing what everyone else is doing.

The biggest threat for marketing discipline does not necessarily lie in the tough economic climate or invasion of new technological possibilities. The greatest enemy is hidden in the fear and convenience of marketers themselves. We tend to follow our routines, rules or structures established in the past decades of prosperity and only talk about doing things differently. Marketing activities in many companies are lacking courage and commitment, decisiveness and will to empower other than „old groovy“solutions.

Marketing Management Congress that will take place on May 5th 2010 in Prague hotel Grand Majestic Plaza, aims to encourage the much desired atmosphere of inspiration and bring in examples how to profit on new market conditions. Presentations of individual speakers will demonstrate how to reject old rules and procedures, how to use new communication tools effectively or how to launch innovations right in the times when market (and competitors) are squeezed by crisis.

The final discussion part will be divided into 2 workshops. One of them will focus on new marketing attitudes and techniques, while the other will deal with public relations – the discipline that proclaims readiness to take over the leading role in the coming Communication Age and to give a new dimension to marketing of companies.
